October 7th–December 2nd
Open to Asian American writers
To be on the margins of gender, race, and/or sexuality can often feel like there is no roadmap to follow. In this 8-week course, we will look at poems that both name our inheritances and articulate a different way forward of one’s choosing.

Writing at the Intersection with Meredith Talusan

Regardless of genre, writing at the intersection of multiple identities creates specific challenges. We'll take a look at some of the strategies intersectional writers have employed to express their ideas and aesthetics, as well as give ourselves time to work through some of these methods.
