Sigrid Nunez publishes her 8th book, "The Friend"

Novelist and past Kundiman faculty Sigrid Nunez released her eighth book, The Friend from Riverhead in February 2018.  It tells the story of how a woman copes with grief after the loss of her best friend, and sudden inheritance of his pet Great Dane. One of the most-anticipated books of 2018 by BuzzFeed, Harper's Bazaar, Book Riot, Electric Literature, Chicago Reader, and many more, The Friend is not to be missed. Congrats, Sigrid!
