Join Kundiman & the Asian American Feminist Collective for our Asian American Feminist Writing Workshop!
This workshop will give participants the opportunity to celebrate the strong tradition of Asian American feminist writers and activists by using feminist history to inspire their own creative writing. We will engage with the work of Asian American feminists before us, and take inspiration from them as we create our own. From February to April 2021, fifteen participants will attend classes and small group writing sessions, culminating in the creation of our own Asian American feminist zine. There will also be a final event in May.
Classes will focus on exploring the history of Asian American feminism as well as essential writings by feminists of color. There will be six 2-hour workshops on the dates below, as well as six small group writing sessions. The syllabus will be shared with the public if anyone would like to read along!

There will be six 2-hour workshops on the following Wednesday evenings from 6–8 PM Eastern Time:
