TRANSATLANTIC Poetry is a unique community of poets writing in (or translating to) English from the US, UK, Europe, and beyond. We host an innovative series of readings “on air” that bring poets together from across the globe using Google+ Hangouts on Air technology.

Cathy Linh Che is the author of Split (Alice James Books), winner of the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America, Best Book Award in Poetry from the Association of Asian American Studies, and the Kundiman Poetry Prize. A Vietnamese American poet from Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA, she has received awards from Poets & Writers, Hedgebrook, Poets House, The Asian American Literary Review, The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and the Jerome Foundation. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Sandeep Parmar was born in England and raised in Southern California. A poet and a critic, specialising in modernist women's writing, she received her PhD from University College London and her MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Her books include: Reading Mina Loy’s Autobiographies: Myth of the Modern Woman (Bloomsbury), a scholarly edition of the Collected Poems of Hope Mirrlees (Carcanet), and two books of her own poetry: The Marble Orchard and Eidolon (Shearsman). She is editing the Collected Poems of Nancy Cunard for Carcanet and writing a biography of the British modernist writer Hope Mirrlees. Her essays and reviews have appeared in the Guardian, Poetry Review, The Los Angeles Review of Books, the Financial Times and the Times Higher Education. She is currently writing a novel partly about India’s Green Revolution and hybridised wheat, for which she has received an International Artist’s Development Fund Grant from the Arts Council/British Council. She is a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Thinker and Co-Director of the University of Liverpool's Centre for New and International Writing where she is Senior Lecturer in English Literature. 

R.A.Villanueva is the author of Reliquaria, winner of the Prairie Schooner Book Prize (U. Nebraska Press, 2014). New writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Poetry, The American Poetry Review, Prac Crit, and The Wolf. His many honours include fellowships from Kundiman and The Asian American Literary Review. He lives in Brooklyn and London.
