The Poetry Foundation took an in-depth look at the work of Kundiman faculty Aimee Nezhukumatathil, highlighting the different ways she writes about love in all its forms.
“When I first started writing poems in college, I rarely, if ever, was exposed to any love poems by an Asian American woman—ones that included motherhood and sensuality and brown skin and the outdoors,” Nezhukumatathil says.
