During each Retreat, six nationally renowned Asian American poets and fiction writers conduct craft classes and mentorship meetings for new and returning fellows. Through this Retreat, Kundiman hopes to provide a safe and instructive environment that identifies and addresses the unique challenges faced by emerging Asian American writers. The Kundiman Retreat is held at Fordham University's Rose Hill campus located in the Bronx, NYC.

Joining us as our poetry and fiction faculty for the 2023 Kundiman Retreat are Rajiv Mohabir, Solmaz Sharif, Lehua M. Taitano, Ryka Aoki, Megha Majumdar, and Lysley Tenorio.

This five-day Retreat takes place from Wednesday, June 21st to Sunday, June 25th, and the application period will be open between December 1st, 2022–January 15th, 2023.
