We are delighted to announce the third panel of our Publishing Panels for AAPI Writers series, Part 3: Publicists, featuring notable book publicists across both traditional and independent publishing houses: Karen Gu (Two Lines Press), Juliana Kiyan (Penguin Press), Jamie Knapp (Plume, Tiny Reparations, Dutton), and Glory Anne Plata (Riverhead Books). Join us as they share their valuable insights into the world of book promotion, how to create successful publicity strategies, advice on generating media coverage, and more. We will begin with a moderated discussion, with an audience Q&A to follow.

All AAPI writers of any level of experience can attend these events for free, thanks to Penguin Random House! Please note that these panels are only open to AAPI writers.

This event will be held on Saturday, September 9, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm ET via Zoom webinar, where it will be recorded and sent to all registered participants. There will also be ASL interpretation by Pro Bono ASL and live captioning by Sign Nexus.
