Welcome Kundiman's 2022-2023 New Interns!

Kundiman welcomes new interns for 2022 fall and 2023 spring season! We are so excited to have this new cohort of interns on board to help Kundiman move forward in supporting our mission of building a space for Asian American writers and readers.

Emma Burden joins us as Grants and Operations Intern. Emma is a sophomore student at Fordham University, studying English and holds an interest in Asian American literature. She also reads literature that is related to her own identities, that being queer/LGBT+ literature, and works by Native/Indigenous American authors.

Amanda Chu is our new Development Intern. Amanda recently graduated from Fordham University with a degree in New Media and Digital Design. She's is interested in illuminating narratives within the Asian American diaspora and forging stronger communities in order to fight cultural dysphoria.

Hannah Kang is our Programs Intern. She's is a recent graduate from Fordham University with a BA in English Language and Literature with minors in Sociology and Classics. She’s partnered and volunteered with Asian American nonprofits including Meals for Unity and E-Girl Power.

Yeenon Yu is our Communications Intern. She is a junior at Fordham University studying English and Bioethics. She is particularly interested in writings that include Asian culture and the diaspora of Asians.
