CantoMundo and Kundiman Scholarships

Kundiman has partnered with the Miami Writers Institute to provide two fellowships for emerging writers of color.

Each scholarship will include the following:

* Full tuition ($630 value)
* One creative writing workshop with an award-winning author
* One manuscript consultation with literary agent Jill Marr
* Craft talks by all teaching faculty
* Publishing seminars

Each recipient will be an outstanding creative writer who will benefit from and contribute to participation in the workshop. Please submit a letter of interest indicating your workshop preference, and a writing sample (3 poems or 10 pages of prose) to Marci Cancio-Bello at mcanciob@mdc.edu by Sunday, April 2, 2017. Scholarships are open by application only to past and present fellows of CantoMundo and Kundiman.
