Dear Kundiman Community,

We are delighted to announce that Mindy Wong will be the new Manager of Kundiman. We are fortunate to benefit from Mindy's background in pedagogy, nonprofit administration, and programming.

Mindy Wong (Kundiman Manager) is a nonfiction writer and is currently working on a memoir about Chinatown. Superstitions, cultural taboos, and storytelling to cope with loss and silence are central themes in her writing. With her background in nonprofit work and passion for supporting creative programs in Asian American communities, she is excited to be a part of the Kundiman team. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and recently completed her Master of Science in Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro College.
