Foster the role of the writer as a vital and relevant voice on the prevailing issues of our shared American society. We believe in the artist as critic and illuminator.

 

 

Implement artistic programs that act as a portal to intellectual and accessible discourse for underserved communities. Nurture the next generation of Asian American creative writers and, at the same time, cultivate the desire within these writers to give back to their communities.

With regard to literary programming, look to excellence and beyond the expected. Along with our existing programs, seek to provide practical advice and resources to Asian American creative writers.  Be on the forefront of how writing and writers are changing in the 21st century.
