Publishing Panels for Asian American Writers Part 2: Editors

We are delighted to announce the second panel of our Publishing Panels for Asian American Writers series, Part 2: Editors, featuring notable publishing editors across both traditional and independent publishing houses: Yuka Igarashi (Graywolf Press), Vivian Lee (Little, Brown and Company), Alyssa Ogi (Tin House), and Nidhi Pugalia (Viking Penguin). Join us as they share their expert input on editor-and-author relations, manuscript pitches, genre-specific editing, and more. We will begin with a moderated discussion, with an audience Q&A to follow.

All Asian American writers of any level of experience can attend these events for free, thanks to Penguin Random House! Please note that these panels are only open to Asian American writers.

This event will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm ET via Zoom webinar, where it will be recorded and sent to all registered participants. There will also be ASL interpretation by Pro Bono ASL and live captioning by Sign Nexus. Let us know what questions you'd want to ask an editor by submitting questions via this Google Form by Friday, January 20th.
