Understanding the ins and outs of the publishing industry can be intimidating and hard to do on your own. Our incoming Publishing Panels for Asian American Writers series is designed to offer a transparent look at how to navigate the world of publishing. Join us and be in conversation with industry experts who will share insider knowledge to guide you through the process from manuscript to published book. We’ll be kicking off our first panel on Saturday, October 1st, 12:00–1:30pm ET with Chapter 1: Literary Agents, a moderated conversation between accomplished literary agents Jade Wong-Baxter (Frances Goldin Literary Agency) and Wendi Gu (Sanford J. Greenburger Associates).
These virtual events will be held via a Zoom webinar, where they will be recorded and sent to all registered participants, and there will be time for audience Q&A following the conversations. There will also be ASL interpretation by Pro Bono ASL and live captioning by Sign Nexus.
These panels are only open to Asian American writers and are free to attend at no cost, thanks to Penguin Random House! Sign up to the first panel here and stay tuned for more information on what’s to come in this enlightening series of discussions!
