Calling all fiction and nonfiction writers! Join T Kira Madden in a class that works on providing each piece of writing with a satisfying setup and payoff. The class will engage in close readings of opening sentences, paragraphs, and chapters, identifying the “hooks” that might engage and propel a reader forward. Class will include generative in-class exercises and each student will be workshopped once.
