Join Kundiman and Poets Out Loud for a poetry reading with Như Xuân Nguyễn and John Balaban! Như is a queer and trans Vietnamese American poet and writer and is the author of A System of Satellites, which won the 2018 Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship. John is a co-founder of the Vietnamese Nôm Preservation Foundation, a translator of Vietnamese poetry, and author of 13 books of original poetry and prose, including the forthcoming collection Empires. This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
