Poetry Foundation Reading

On November 5th, the Poetry Foundation will host a reading featuring Kundiman poets, featuring Sarah Gambito and Janine Joseph. Sarah Gambito cofounded Kundiman and is the author of the poetry collections Loves You, Delivered, and Matadora. Her honors include a Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award from Poets & Writers and a Wai Look Award for Outstanding Service to the Arts from the Asian American Arts Alliance. Janine Joseph is the author of Driving Without a License, recipient of a Kundiman Poetry Prize and an Eric Hoffer da Vinci Eye award. She is a co-organizer for Undocupoets, is an assistant professor for creative wriing at Oklahoma State University, and serves on the advisory board for the Center for Poets and Writers at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa. There will be an ASL interpreter at this event.
