New Intimacies: A Reading & Conversation with Min Jin Lee and Sigrid Nunez at AWP 2018

  • Tampa Convention Center, First Floor, Ballroom C (map)

At AWP 2018, Kundiman will present two novelists whose stories bring us into the fraught, shifting lives of family and friends, whose settings span continents and generations, and whose characters show the tenuous nature of identity in diaspora. Min Jin Lee and Sigrid Nunez will be joining us for a reading and conversation on March 10th, from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM in Ballroom C of the first floor of the Tampa Convention Center.

Min Jin Lee’s Pachinko is a national bestseller, a New York Times Editor’s Choice and an Indie Next Great Reads. Lee’s debut novel Free Food for Millionaires was a national bestseller, a New York Times Editor’s Choice, and a Top 10 Novels of the Year for The Times (London), NPR’s Fresh Air, and USA Today.

Sigrid Nunez has published six novels, including A Feather on the Breath of God, The Last of Her Kind, and Salvation City. Her seventh novel, The Friend, is forthcoming. Nunez is also the author of Sempre Susan: A Memoir of Susan Sontag.
