In a continued effort to promote diversity, the Miami Writers Institute has partnered with Kundiman to provide a fellowship for one emerging writer of color. The scholarship includes full tuition for the all-inclusive workshop of the recipient’s choice. Applicants must be current or previous Kundiman fellows. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2018.

About the Miami Writers Institute
The Miami Writers Institute is an annual creative writing conference, produced by the Miami Book Fair Year-Round and takes place over four days every May. This year the conference will take place May 2 - 5, 2018.
The conference features intensive writing workshops with bestselling authors, craft talks, publishing seminars, manuscript consultations with a literary agent and happy hour events. Writing workshops are all limited to 15 students each, to allow for individualized attention. Come to Miami to enjoy the sunny atmosphere and write (or rewrite!) your next great work!
