BABITA CHHETRI is a Nepali-speaking immigrant from the hill station of Darjeeling, India. She came to the U.S in 2007, leaving her two children behind with their grandparents. She works as a house keeper in Manhattan, and lives with her friend in Jackson Heights, Queens.

DOLLY SHARMA, 43, was born in Darjeeling, India and immigrated to the U.S with her husband and her 13 year old son after they won a DV lottery in 2013. Formerly a housekeeper, Dolly now works for BCS, a packaging company and, lives in Woodside, Queens with her family.
