We all wish to avoid the cringe sex scene. This generative craft class explores how to write good, evocative—and if you want, hot—scenes of physical and emotional intimacy. We’ll look at passages from Arundhati Roy, Raven Leilani, Susan Choi, and J.M. Holmes, work together on some in-class writing exercises, and leave with a framework for drafting and revising scenes of physical and sexual intimacy.

This class is a 1-day (3 hours long) craft class on Saturday, November 4th from 2:00 PM–5:00 PM ET. This craft class is open to all writers of color.
